JIM'S DALE ARE SO STUBBORN!

KAIRO Mitchell’s eighth goal of the season in the eighth minute goal saw high-flying Rochdale see off Braintree Town and stay fourth in the table in a hard-fought clash at the Crown Oil Arena.

JIM'S DALE ARE SO STUBBORN!

Mitchell rounded off a fine team move to net from close range – the seventh successive match that the in-form striker had found the net.

The Iron, who came into the game off the back on an impressive 1-0 victory over Halifax in midweek, fought tooth and nail for the remainder of the game and always looked capable of scoring.

Jamal Fyfield almost replied straight away with a header which just went past the far post, while Dale keeper Luke McNicholas saved well from efforts from Marley Marshall-Miranda and Finley Wilkinson in the second half to keep a seventh clean sheet of this season.
