CRYSTAL CLEAR PARTY COMPANION
Exhibit|April 2024
Party speakers are available in all sizes and shapes. Sony understands that, and hence, we tested the less-than-knee-height SRS-XV500 X-series party speaker.

CRYSTAL CLEAR PARTY COMPANION

With a dual woofer and dual tweeter unit weighing just 11.2 KGs, Sony has absolutely made a banger. We spent a few days with this versatile speaker in and around our office space, allowing me to take you through the acoustic nirvana.

DESIGN

One look at the speaker, and you know this is a party speaker. There are LEDs neatly facing the speaker on both ends that also double up as sturdy handles to carry the speaker around. The upper handle has a neat Sony logo and illuminated capacitive buttons to control basic functions like Play/ Pause, volume, MEGABASS, Bluetooth, Audio In, USB and multi-tap functions like on most buttons like Light. The rugged outer case feels sturdy and is IPX4protected. The rear houses a sealable flap to open the AC charging port, Mic 1, Mic 2/ Guitar 6.5mm ports, 3.5mm Audio In, and a USB port with reverse charging and key controls for your instruments. There are Echo and Guitar buttons with sturdy knobs for Min and Max values. There is also a battery care button that gives a vocal announcement of battery levels. The texture and the build do inspire confidence to take this speaking dancing in the real world.
