Over the years, advancements in tin packaging technology continued to evolve. In the mid-19th century, American industrialist Ezra J. Warner improved the manufacturing process by developing machinery that could produce seamless cans, making the containers more efficient and cost-effective. In 1901, William Lyman developed a method to produce thinner and lighter tin-coated steel cans, reducing material usage while maintaining durability.
