My progress through Guild Wars 2 has been extremely haphazard. For reasons I can't M recall, I dropped the MMO before the first Living World season kicked off-so nearly a decade ago-but I finally returned last year to play with a group of co-op buddies who've been playing for years.
This means I've been dragged to all sorts of fun activities and events and fantastical new locations entirely out of sequence. I don't know what's going on, who anyone is, or where I am in the timeline at any given point-but I'm having a blast. For a while, I was collecting chilis and attending Charr heavy metal concerts to earn a microphone skin for one of my weapons from Icebrood Saga (the fifth season) before I'd even finished the vanilla campaign.
