Doctors by profession, Akshita and Abishek's love story is as classic as they come - started with the arrangement of their meeting and then fell in love. There was an instant connection during their first meet and after being engaged for 6 months, they tied the knot in a traditional Gowda wedding. Akshitha, a radiologist and Abishek, a physician soon realised they had more in common than just their craft. With a blend of rituals and celebrations, complemented with classic decor, stunning couple makeover, happy tears and love in the air, the wedding affair was extravagant. After all, this once-in-a-lifetime occasion must be handled with the utmost fervor! After a remarkable experience during the engagement with renowned makeup artist Sangeeta Kailash, Akshitha vowed to have her for all her wedding functions.

At first, the wedding was slated to take place on February 14th, the iconic day of love. But concerns regarding resurgence of Covid-19 cases, raised health risks and made it challenging for families travelling from abroad to attend the festivities. The families then chose to reschedule the wedding date to the month of April allowing everyone make room for informed planning.

As fate had it, their courtship period extended and the deeper they fell in love, the better they understood each other. Akshitha believes that the extra two months gave them more time to connect and get to know each other. When they finally tied the knot, she felt as if they had known each other for years. Such is the power of true love.
