While each cover is unique, the efforts, time and brainstorming that go into the creation of each are the same. It is a challenging task to put together the entire concept and bring to reality a vision that is a creative expression of the Director and photographer. The muse for our cover for this edition is Ritu Verma, a fresh and promising face in the South Indian film industry. Her dainty features and mesmerizing personality inspired us to create timeless and elegant looks that resulted in dreamy shots that you see in this edition.
The shoot was conceptualized by Sangeetha Kailash and the idea was to portray elegance and sophistication while retaining a moment of drama and mystery. The outfits chosen, the style adopted, makeup and the entire set up was aligned with this idea and shot in the stunning premises of Sheraton Hotel in Mahabalipuram. The magnanimous buildings to the serene beaches- the location offered us the best of both the worlds to capture the grace and magic created by our team.
Sangeetha Kailash has always been passionate about fashion and understands the varied factors that go into styling of a shoot and the expected outcome of the same. A cover shoot is more challenging than a normal photoshoot as it sets the tone for the magazine and must reflect the theme of the magazine at a glance. It inspires the readers to create confident and exciting looks inspired by the ensembles covered in the edition. Thus, a lot of care and thought must be put into the styling of each of these outfits and looks.
