Adding Sparkle to Every Day

FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS, STACY LONDON, 55, BROUGHT STYLE, GRACE AND PRACTICAL ADVICE to millions as the sassy co-host of the hit TLC makeover show What Not to Wear. Today, she is redefining confidence for women 50+ through her new clothing line, her work as a midlife advocate and as a QVC Q50 Ambassador who helps women celebrate their passions and discover more joy. “Empowerment isn’t what it was 20 years ago. Now I think we’re really leaning into authenticity,” Stacy tells FIRST. And she doesn’t believe women are fighting the good fight alone. “We’re going to have 1 billion women in menopause in 2025,” she notes. “That’s a lot of voices. I want them to be connected to each other and demand the changes that they want.” Here, Stacy shares her tips to finding your passion, practicing self-love and living your best life.

HOW I BOOST SELF-LOVE

Reframing my mindset

“There are times where I had to stop myself and say, ‘You’ve been walking for five blocks saying how bad your hair looks today in your head, instead of saying, ‘Look how sunny it is. Look how glorious that you have a body that can move and walk down the street,’” admits Stacy. “I believe in acknowledging what we do have and what we can do, as opposed to what we can no longer do, could never do or can’t have. Wishing for fantasy is a waste of time.”
