Jenna's keys to holiday bliss!

From her high-profile job as co-host of Today with Hoda & Jenna during the fourth hour of NBC’s Today show to writing books, raising kids, hosting her new podcast and shepherding her book club, Read with Jenna, Jenna Bush Hager’s life is a constant whirlwind. Yet she embraces it all with a smile, sense of humor and deep sense of gratitude. “I feel so unbelievably lucky, especially for my kids,” Jenna tells FIRST of daughters Mila, 10, and Poppy, 8, and son Hal, 4. “I’m just so grateful that I get to watch them grow up.”

With her birthday on November 25, which she shares with her twin sister, Barbara, Jenna usually has the family over for Thanksgiving dinner, birthday cake and to share memories. “My mom [former First Lady Laura Bush] always said her most grateful memory was being in the hospital eating rubber turkey because she knew she was about to have twins,” says Jenna. Here, she shares her tips for looking and feeling your best during the holiday—and all year long.

Pain soother

Epsom salt soak

“Epsom salt baths have changed my life, not only for pain relief but also for stress release—the problem is a kid always wants to climb in,” Jenna says with a laugh. “An Epsom salt soak is an affordable, easy way to just make yourself feel good. The other thing I swear by is a freezing cold blast at the end of my shower. Even if it’s just 45 seconds, it helps with joint pain and also brightens my mood.”
