If they weren't both happily married with kids, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to imagine that Julia Roberts and George Clooney could have ended up being one of Hollywood's most gorgeous couples. Woman got the chance to see the superstars together ahead of the release of their hilarious new film, Ticket to Paradise, and it's fair to say there's definite chemistry between the pair.
Gorgeous George - who shares twins Ella and Alexander, five, with barrister wife Amal, 44 - is still as handsome as ever. Dressed casually in jeans, a purple polo shirt, and boots, he looks far younger than his 61 years. A youthful 54-year-old Julia, who shares twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 17, and son Henry, 15, with cameraman Danny Moder, 53, is understatedly beautiful in a white dress, grey jacket, and on-trend loafers. Even with minimal make-up and her hair falling naturally around her shoulders, she is every bit as breathtaking as she was in her Pretty Woman days.
Having collaborated on five other films in the past - Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve, August: Osage County, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and Money Monster the pair are firm friends and love nothing more than taking the mickey out of each other. At one point during the chat, Julia jokingly puts her hand over George's face and then pretends to strangle him, while George spends most of the interview with his hand resting on the back of Julia's chair. It's clear this friendship is the real deal.
When asked why he chose to take the role in Ticket to Paradise, George replied, 'What was so important to me was being able to work with the queen of sitcoms, the queen of romantic comedies. But she couldn't take the job so I worked with Julia instead.'
Meanwhile, Julia joked that she only accepted the part so she'd have the chance to be 'snarky to George!'
