Having lost both of her parents, as well as her older sister Bernie, and gone through two divorces, Coleen Nolan hasn’t had it easy by anyone’s standards. But she remains positive, with a refreshing zest for life. And when Woman sits down with the Loose Women star to discuss her latest project, a book about grief, she is as cheerful and engaging as ever.
Here, Coleen, 59, opens up about being unsure about marrying her boyfriend Michael and why ‘talking too much’ is her biggest problem.
Hi Coleen, how are you?
I’m in a very happy place at the moment. I moved into my new house about six weeks ago. It needs loads doing to it but I’m really happy, surrounded by lots of animals, which are my passion. Michael’s living with me now so it’s all good.
How are you and Michael doing?
Michael and I are going great. I mean the house, every room needs doing and I’ve still got boxes and no wardrobe so that’s not going well! But it’s all lovely, we get on great. I’m really content and happy, touch wood.
Do you think you and Michael will get married?
