Hate holiday season because of your bunions? You’re not alone – it’s estimated that one in three people aged over 65 have a bunion to some extent.

A bunion is a lump of bone on the side of the foot that grows out from the joint at the bottom of your big toe. Not only can it look unsightly to the beholder (in truth, others probably pay it little attention), but it can also be extremely painful and limit your footwear choices.
