I AM A 28-YEAR-OLD WOMAN AND have been dating my boyfriend for four months now. He is new to the city and he doesn't know a lot of people outside of his work. He has a hectic work schedule so he doesn't get to meet a lot of new people he can bond with. Now, his landlord has asked him to move out immediately and he's thinking of moving in with me. I hate confrontation and haven't told him that I do not want this as it's too soon. But he probably won't find another place to stay in such a short period. What should I do?
If you are not comfortable with your boyfriend moving in with you early in the relationship, then there is no point beating around the bush. You should take a deep breath and just tell him it's a bad idea. Give him an explanation and tell him you want to be sure about where this relationship is going before making such a big jump. He can find a hotel or he can request one of his colleagues if he can crash with them until he finds a new place. You can also consider letting him stay with you for a week, but make sure he doesn't extend his welcome. You can actively help him in house-hunting. You are still in the process of getting to know each other, so for a healthy relationship, you should maintain some boundaries.
I AM IN LOVE WITH MY BEST FRIEND. I'm 24 years old. I have only known him for two years but we became quick friends. He's goofy and respects me a lot. Both of us have been in relationships and supported each other through breakups. But now, for the past six months, I have been struggling with my desire for him. I realised that I had caught feelings for him on a random day as we were out on a walk. I am confused as to what to do since this is very complicated. If I confess, I will end up risking this beautiful friendship. What should I do?
