Electioneering is going on throughout the country for the general elections to be held in the largest "Democracy" of the world, India, that is Bharat. All the political parties are vehemently canvassing for their respective candidates, offering 'free' schemes to the voters and luring them. Naturally, the achievements of the ruling parties are decried by the opposition parties as failures.
Positive votes and anti-incumbency are predicted. Surveys by eminent media groups have become soothsayers, as per their respective political loyalties. 'Paid News' is also flourishing both in print and electronic media. The so-called political analysts too are cleverly projecting the victory of the political parties to which they are faithful.
Elections have been completed 'peacefully', as it is reported, but for a few untoward incidents here and there. In six phases, they were held, and the date of results has arrived. People are so excited, as to who will rule them for the next five years. Both the ruling and the opposition are claiming a "wonderful majority". "Clean sweep", "cake walk', etc. Even the Third Front is very optimistic to come into power. Enthusiastic betting heroes have already staked thousands of crores of rupees the previous night. Height of frenzy!
It is a working day! Those who cannot withstand the temptation for results have evaded their official and business duties. Real Patriots!
