Mandy inhaled the smoky smell of autumn. She smiled. This meant one thing to her: Halloween! From scary-but-cute decorations to pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating, all held a special place in her heart. Her friends and family look forward to her annual Halloween bash almost as much as she does.
Mandy starts transforming her small home into a haunted house as soon as possible. Her treatloving black cat named Spooky adds to the festive atmosphere.
Bobbing for apples, ghost stories around the firepit and eating graveyard cake are the norms for her Halloween party. The most anticipated event is the reveal at midnight of the masquerade party guests.
Because of her love for Halloween, Mandy always dreamed of finding a soulmate who would share in her Halloween passion. Of course, she plans for the wedding to take place on October 31st, with the grandest Halloween party of all! The bridesmaids will wear orange and black dresses, the reception hall will be lit with jack-o’-lanterns.
“Maybe a Halloween wedding isn’t in the cards,” Mandy lamented to her best friend, Jen.
“Don’t give up,” Jen said. “You just haven’t met your eternal soulmate.”
