Building a Center Console for Tough Prerunning
As far as many are concerned, having a reasonably nice interior in their off-road vehicle is not a “luxury,” but with the sheer amount of hardware and switching that needs to be installed, interiors also need to be a good blend of form and function. One area that exemplifies this ideal is the normally lowly center console.
You may never have thought about it, but it takes a lot of work and time to build an off-road–worthy center console. Unlike the custom and hot rod guys, these consoles need to be able to take punishment and look good too.
