Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fair, for several years has been one of the most influential and lucrative platforms for the apparel industry. This year’s edition too, was no exception; held between 14th and 16th March at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai.
INTERTEXTILE SHANGHAI APPAREL FAIR 2018 IN NUMBERS
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fair has always been a very conducive platform for both exhibitors and buyers. The bullishness about the event, was more than evident from the widespread excitement among both the exhibitors and the buyers alike. As compared to the previous edition the exhibitor count was markedly higher, up from 3341, to 3386 from over 22 countries and territories. The buyer count too soared to 82,341, up 15% from the previous edition.
INTERTEXTILE SHANGHAI APPAREL FAIR 2018: THE SCALE
To put into perspective why Intertextile is considered one of the world’s premier events for the apparel industry, a word must be squeezed in edgewise about the sheer scale of the event. The National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai, served as the staging zone for the event. Seven halls and a massive 187,000 square metres of space were in use for this edition.
