A Patna girl at heart, being born and brought up in the city, I did my schooling from D.A.V School. Being the youngest at home, I was always the pampered one. I loved being outdoors playing in the sun and mud, and my favourite toy was my bicycle. But my parents were a tad strict regarding play hours and study hours. As a kid, I was so much into sports and participated in most of the extra-curricular activities at school. As most children at a young age, I loved reading everything apart from the course books.
Fashion-Filled Campus Life
I did my graduation from BIT, Noida. During that time I had a huge inclination towards the glamour industry and did many fashion shows in Delhi. I won some regional beauty pageants in Bihar, and it boosted my confidence. It encouraged me to try for national level pageants like Femina Miss India and Miss Maxim India.I was a campus princess finalist for Femina Miss India in 2014 and then I won Miss Maxim India title in 2015.
I loved participating in beauty pageants and the way experts train you is a once in a lifetime experience that helped me groom myself into what I am today. What attracted me the most was the fact that it was a real test for a girl from every aspect; there was no standing there and looking pretty! One needed to be more than a doll. It was about beauty with a purpose, a girl who oozes confidence and positivity, while being proactive about giving her life a purpose in both her own career and the lives of others. My biggest encouragement in all this was my parents, who staunchly supported my endeavours. I grew up in a family who motivated me to do things that I enjoy and who always taught me that beauty isn’t superficial.
