In next five years I wish to be happy no matter what I am doing - Singer Khushboo Grewal

Throw some light on your journey from VJ to acting to singing?

My journey from VJ to acting to singing was totally unplanned. It was not strategic or pre-decided. I just took hold of the opportunities that came my way and one thing lead to the other. Everything I have learned in each phase of my career has contributed towards me becoming the performer I am today. When I go on stage and interact with people, all the skills I have picked up till date add to me being a complete entertainer. It has been a roller coaster but a very enjoyable ride.

Your experience about VJ as your profession

I love VJing; I was a big chatter box in school. In fact my parents used to tell me “We will give you 10 rupees if you keep quiet for a minute” and I would never win. I always loved talking and was a very inquisitive person. I was always a people’s person. I loved talking to them, knowing about their life, their journey and their struggles. So being a VJ was very easy for me. I got to do something I loved i.e. talk and got paid for it.

Your experience about television industry It was a great experience and fun, but I do not believe in looking back. I believe looking forward and experiencing all the adventures that life has in store for me. Currently, my passion lies in being a performer and a singer, so that is where I am headed.

What inspired you to join singing as your profession?
