The 20-Minute Rowing Routine

Row, row, row your boat, gently down the str… Oh. Wait. There’s no stream, and we’re safe and dry in a gym. This month, we’re on the rower, a machine that offers a full-body, low-impact workout.

Lawrence Price, personal trainer at London’s OneLDN, explains that it is great for strengthening the body and burning body fat. And what’s the adjustable tab on the side of the rower, at the front that goes from one to 10? ‘That’s the damper – effectively an effort-level gauge. The higher the number, the more effort needed.’
