Meet Logan, Yvette and Farai.
NEW LOOK, NEW FORMAT
OVER 140 QUALITY ENTRIES WERE RECEIVED FOR THIS YEAR’S COMPETITION, WHICH INCLUDED A NEW FORMAT AND UPDATED ENTRY CRITERIA. Along with the usual questionnaire and profile pictures, entrants were also required to submit a short video introducing themselves.
The changes were introduced to allow greater public participation and engagement. For the first time, online voting was opened for all the entrants, replacing the top 32 format from previous years.
NARROWING IT DOWN
Based on the votes, which combined the online votes with those from the USN, Fusion Labs and fitness magazine judging panel, the top 12 contestants were selected. From here the final 3 were announced a week later.
When all was said and done, Farai Gomwe, Yvette Ferreira and Logan Leigh Rix were the deserving entrants who progressed to the final round. They attended the exclusive allexpenses paid photo shoot experience, which took place in Johannesburg from 26-28 September.
THE WINNER IS...
The winner announcement will be made via online media on 10 December. Based on the strength of her photos, and how well her values align to the brands associated with the competition, the winner will ultimately become a USN brand ambassador and fitness magazine’s spokesmodel, and will represent the fitness industry as a whole.
