Fit For Purpose

When Brenda and Peter moved into their home the kitchen was one of the first rooms they renovated.

Fit For Purpose

Now, nearly 20 years on it was ready for a facelift. A very small extension was added but inside the renovation work was extensive. Walls were knocked through and internal doors were moved. In its entirety the project took about six months and during this time the family relocated the existing kitchen downstairs into the basement garage.

Commenting on the work Brenda said: “Peter’s father built this house about 45 years ago so we did some work when we first moved in but were ready for a change.

“Our sons are 18 and 19 so in effect we’ve four adults living in the house. The kitchen is probably the main room that we all use so we really wanted to do something special with it.”

Working with Robinsons Interiors and designer Michael Grant the couple chose a classic style kitchen with plenty of visual hooks and design features.
