Happily Ever After
The burst of energy on the set at the posh Babel Fit gym in Taman Tun Dr Ismail while photographing TV host-turned-conservationist, Rina Omar is contagious. Rina, who is currently the programme manager for Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots in Malaysia, is not just chatty with the SHAPE crew but she’s also very active. She jumps and does push-ups in between sets while keeping taking instructions from the art director to stay steady for poses despite the scorching midday sun. Looking at her, I ask if she meditated. “No! I don’t meditate,” she says. Turns out, cooking was Rina’s thing. It’s her therapy – one of the things that make her happy in life. Here are her other happiness strategies that keep her life in check and balance.
