Round up the kids for a trip through the jungle at Rainforest Cafe (Harmon Corner, 702.891.8580). Children get an activity book filled with puzzles and trivia and order from the kid’s menu that features Jurassic chicken tidbits, python pasta and Rainforest rascals, aka mini burgers. Kids can choose sides such as veggies, mashed potatoes or apple sauce to complete their meals with a jungle setting as the backdrop.

Lazy Dog

Not only is Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar (Downtown Summerlin, 702.727.4784 and Town Square, 702.941.1920) family-friendly, but dog friendly, too. Kids can build their own pizza or try hand-breaded chicken nuggets, mini corn dogs or noodles with butter or marinara sauce. Each dish comes with a drink and a choice of a side such as fresh fruit, carrots, fries or mashed potatoes. Brunch options include buttermilk bone cakes or French toast dippers. Dogs get treated to a bowl of water. Menu choices for your pooch include a plate of brown rice or versions with a grilled hamburger patty or a chicken breast, all on the patio.
