Watson rumors won't go away:
Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson reported that the Dolphins have emerged as the frontrunner in trade discussions with the Houston Texans for quarterback Deshaun Watson. However, at the time of press for this issue, Miami has not made a trade.
As the Miami Dolphins head into their 2021season with a few uncertainties, one thing is for sure: quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is the future of the Dolphins.
Tagovailoa has fallen under much unfair scrutiny this offseason, but the 2020 No. 5 overall pick has defended himself the right way; with his play. Tagovailoa was recovering from a gruesome hip injury in 2019 and never looked 100% healthy when he played.
His rookie struggles, matched with his injury recovery and a COVID-19 offseason, led to many questions regarding if he can be the quarterback of the future for Miami. Tagovailoa spent the offseason working on his craft instead of recovering from an injury, and it has shown in training camp and the preseason.
