When was the last time you sent someone a handwritten letter?
I returned from office and saw my uncle and his wife I chatting with my mom (in law) and she was happily sharing news about some 'treasure' of hers. She was gleefully telling them how happy it makes her each time she sees it. Hearing this, I too was eager to see it.
I thought it would be some antique or some uncut diamond or some exclusive item because she is very fond of all these things. As she got up to get the 'treasure', I went to freshen myself and when I came back, she was gloriously showing the treasure to our guests. I peeped in to see what that treasure was! I was surprised to see that the treasure was nothing other than a set of handwritten letters written by us which was given to her almost 10 years back.
A few years earlier, in the holistic course of our beloved Mahatria, one of the sessions was on gratitude and we were supposed to gift handwritten letter to our parents. I vividly remember how, when we gifted those letters, there was so much happiness, eagerness and tears of joy as they read those letters. It felt worth everything.
