WHILE TED LASSO MADE HER A HOUSEHOLD NAME, THIS STAR ISN'T LETTING IT GO TO HER HEAD
Hannah Waddingham - I'll never change

Hannah Waddingham might seem like an overnight success thanks to her scene-stealing turn as Rebecca Welton in Ted Lasso, H but that's just the role that got Hollywood to sit up and pay attention. For decades, she had already carved out a name for herself in musical theatre thanks to starring in hit shows on London's West End.

Following her Emmy win in 2021, film roles flowed in thick and fast. And she's set to make a splash on the big screen alongside Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt in their newly released Australian-filmed blockbuster, The Fall Guy. Don't think fame is going to her head, though, as this is one star who is staying incredibly grounded and humble.

"And I will never change from being like that," the 49-year-old actress tells WHO. "Because I don't know how to, I don't take any of it for granted. And it can easily go to somebody else."

The Fall Guy, of course, isn't the only exciting project she's been working on since her quirky global hit comedy about a struggling soccer team aired its final season last year. Waddingham has been filming the 8th instalment in the Mission: Impossible movie franchise with Tom Cruise.
