"Leave the pleasantries for later. First, answer my question," Damru commanded. "Who is bigger, a mosquito or a buffalo? If you manage to answer this question correctly, you will be the winner; or else you are no better than a donkey."
"Is this a question worth asking? Even a blind could tell that a buffalo is person bigger than a mosquito," Cheeku replied with a smile.
"Wrong! Absolutely wrong! Your answer is incorrect."
"How is that possible? What mighty power does a mosquito have compared to a buffalo?" Cheeku asked, confused.
"You know that the mosquito can ride on the buffalo's back, but a buffalo cannot ride on a mosquito. So that makes the mosquito bigger. From today onwards, you will be called a donkey, not me," Damru said.
After saying so, he walked away from there.
This was Damru's daily ritual. He would stop any passer-by and then ask them an odd question.
When anyone answered incorrectly, he would call them a donkey.
One day, Jumbo elephant was off to the market for work when he met Damru along the way.
"Before going any further, try answering my question, big brother, so I get to know who really is a donkey," said Damru and Jumbo stopped.
"All right, go ahead and ask your question. But I am in a hurry as I have some urgent work."
"Which is your tail? The one in the front or the one at the back?"
Damru's question angered Jumbo. "You fool! Don't you know that the tail is not in the front that is my trunk."
Listening to Jumbo, Damru started to laugh.
