In an industry often characterised by competition and exclusivity, creating a sense of belonging and nurturing community while working for collective growth has been the cornerstone of my work as a conscious designer. The 15-year journey of my label has been nothing short of transformative, both for me personally, and for the fashion industry at large. What strikes me amidst this labyrinth of experiences and achievements is the support of community, peers, and craftspeople. A deep exploration of our layered histories and indigenous practices have not only informed my brand, but have become the essence of a renewed fashion philosophy.
