This recipe combines ripe tomatoes, aromatic spices, and a touch of sweetness for a perfectly balanced and tangy sauce. Enjoy it with fries, burgers, or any dish that calls for a dollop of rich, flavorful ketchup.

Method

Prepare the Tomatoes:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

  • Cut a small "X" on the bottom of each tomato.

  • Blanch the tomatoes in the boiling water for about 30 seconds, then transfer them to an ice water bath.

  • Peel the tomatoes, remove the cores, and roughly chop them.
