IHCL goa reiterates ITS DEDICATION TO ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Key practices include water conservation, wherein hotels operate sewage treatment plants (STPs) with ultra-filtration systems, ensuring zero discharge of wastewater and 100% reuse for irrigation. Additionally, rainwater harvesting systems are employed to recharge groundwater. Effective waste management involves bio-composting of food waste and responsible disposal of waste oil and batteries through authorised sources. Energy efficiency measures such as the use of acoustic insulation for DG sets, eco-friendly chemicals in housekeeping, and chemical-free cooling tower systems are implemented to reduce environmental impact.
