Going to great heights to help

TWELVE strangers braved gruelling conditions, altitude sickness and climbed 17,000 feet to raise more than £20,000 for some of the world's poorest children.

Over 11 days, they hiked through forests and mountainous terrain to reach Everest Base Camp.
