Amorim's men left champions Manchester City shellshocked with two late goals to seal a remarkable 2-1 triumph that piled more pain on Pep Guardiola and his flops.

And Uruguay international Ugarte says the result is proof that United have what it takes to return to the summit of English football.

United travel to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals tomorrow night and Ugarte said: "There's a good feeling in the dressing room.
