It is now well documented that this is Pep Guardiola's worst run of form since taking over as Manchester City manager and that there is a major crisis of confidence in their ranks.
Their hopes of holding onto their league title are effectively over, having slipped down to fifth in the English Premier League standings, 11 points behind Liverpool, who gave them a relatively comprehensive beating last Sunday, even if the score was a respectable 2-0.
City are at home tonight and ordinarily would be a banker bet to win, but given their current run, anything is possible.
