RUGBY league legend Kevin Sinfield has raised more than £1million for people Iwith Motor Neurone Disease in his latest charity challenge.
The former Leeds Rhinos skipper, whose fellow rugby star and close friend Rob Burrow died from MND in June aged 41, smashed his original target of £777,777.
The figure was chosen because Rob always wore the No 7 shirt.
The final leg of Kevin's 230-mile week-long challenge began at Old Trafford, Manchester - scene of the Rhinos' Grand Final successes and took him back to his hometown of Saddleworth.
The Running Home for Christmas challenge was Kevin's fifth such event.
The first four raised nearly £10m for MND-related causes.
