GROOVING - TO AN ALIEN RHYTHM

Groove That Goob

If you're itching for a rhythm game similar to Crypt of the NecroDancer, Groove that Goob is a free option that offers a lean take on the genre.

You play as Goob, an alien tasked with sneaking to the very top of a penthouse party to steal a jukebox and restore music to its galaxy. To accomplish this you will have to use a mix of stealth and rhythm to make your way through the dance party.

There are 35 levels in total but you can use the game's elevator to skip levels if you get stuck. The levels feature a variety of songs but some will repeat during the game. Overall the music is pretty good and unique, although there is a level with vocals that are wholly out of tune and ruin the vibe.
