KEFLS TLT
Ever since the 2016 launch of the KEF LS50 Wireless stereo speaker system, KEF has been knocking it out of the park.
Now there's this, the KEF LSX II LTa more affordable, pared-back variation of the LSX. Has the company managed to move downmarket without, you know.... moving downmarket? The KEF LSX II LT uses the same 11thgeneration speaker driver fitted to the KEF LSX II.
A 19 mm aluminium dome tweeter is located at the acoustic centre of a 115 mm magnesium/aluminium mid/bass cone the idea is to position the acoustic centre of each unit precisely in order to optimise time alignment. Each speaker gets 100 W of class-D power and frequency response is a claimed 54 Hz to 28 kHz.
At 240x155x180 mm per speaker, the KEF LSX II LT will look at home on a shelf or desktop and there are cost-option stands available too if you so desire.
All the connectivity-related action is the responsibility of the primary loudspeaker.
It features dual-band Wi-Fi, so Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and UPnP devices are all available and the app grants access to Amazon Music, Deezer, Qobuz, and Internet radio too. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity is here, with SBC and AAC codec compatibility.
