'It's frivolous and breeds entitlement' Mandy Dineley, 60, is a wedding writer who lives in Hampshire.

I love perfume and feel flattered when people ask me what I'm wearing - usually Frédéric Malle's Portrait of a Lady or anything by Tom Ford. But I always spritz sparingly, and running out of perfume wouldn't ever stop me from leaving the house for Christmas drinks.

I'm worried that The Perfume Shop's collaboration with Deliveroo, which promises to deliver bottles of fragrance within 15 minutes to some locations, is a slippery slope. Not only is it encouraging impatience and an unhealthy reliance on instant gratification, it's breeding entitlement.
