LYTHAM 1940s WARTIME FESTIVAL
Lancashire
This weekend turns the clock back 80 years as thousands of visitors dressed in wartime fatigues and civvies descend on Lytham St Annes. With period cars and aircraft, re-enactments and living history talks, as well as music and memorabilia, it's the place to laugh, dance and soak up the spirit of the 1940s. This year features performances by a George Formby tribute act, plus the vintage harmony trio The Bluebirds.
