Suits, ties, and shoes go a long way in helping you look your best for your special day, but the right hairstyle is the glue that will bring your whole look together.
Finding Your Match: The Perfect Hairstyle According to Face Shape

Never underestimate the importance of hairstyles for grooms. While it might not seem as important as a bride’s, hairstyles can make or break a look. In order to look your best on your wedding day, make sure to sport a hairstyle that is suitable for your facial structure – there are a total of 7 basic human face shapes, each with their distinctive features.

Heart-Shaped

People with heart-shaped faces have foreheads that are wider than their jaw and cheekbones and sport narrow chins. If your face is heart-shaped, you should divert your efforts into balancing out the bottom part of your face.

You can do this by opting for a simple textured fringe or dimensional quiff, as medium-length swept hair is optimal for this face shape. To avoid uneven angles, steer clear of products that are too heavy.

Square-Shaped

If your chin is more pointed than it is rounded and your forehead, cheekbones, and jaw are of similar measurements, you have a square-shaped face. Often considered the most masculine of face shapes, you can capitalize on your chiseled appearance by finding a hairstyle that accentuates your strong jawline.

As this face shape is particularly versatile, we recommend that you experiment with various styles to find one that you prefer. That said, most males with square faces tend to keep their hair fairly short, like a short pompadour or faux hawk with a close fade or layered side part to avoid elongating your face.
