A Fresh Breath Of Creativity

Leave it to Van Cleef & Arpels to turn a century-old character into a stylish signature worthy of a revival. Its golden bead motif, first appeared circa 1920, was once a mere device to emphasise a design or border a stone before it started popping up in a number of compositions and became an icon in its own right especially upon the launch of Perlée—a fine jewellery range that highlights the bead’s rounded form—in 2008.

Countless creations that have come out since have forged a novel, modern and high-impact visual language and the Parisian luxury house continues to expand its design vocabulary with its smorgasbord of circular goodness. The latest update of the Perlée sees Van Cleef & Arpels referencing the unsung gems in its catalogue notably the Philippine ring whose combination of ornamental stones and diamonds in bold configurations remains unmatched.
