How did your fitness journey start?
When I met my husband in 2012 I was introduced to the fitness industry. He was competing and when I saw all of the athletes on stage, I was so motivated that I decided to challenge myself and give it a go.
What is your biggest achievement to date?
I was incredibly fortunate and blessed to have won my division at the IFBB SA Championships in 2015.
What is the biggest hurdle you had to overcome to get to where you are today?
I have really had to work hard in every aspect of my life; things were not handed to me. I grew up in hard times and had to face many rejections but I have always had a wonderful support structure and I am incredibly blessed. I have chronic asthma and to this day it has been a constant hurdle in itself, but I will definitely not let it stop me from chasing my dreams.
