Trail runner and racer
Lila runs for her middle school and competes in some local races. As a 6th grader, she broke the course record for girls during the Middle School Fund Run, and broke the course record for women at the FallFest 5K to raise money for Autism.
She also loves running on trails. “It feels free when you are running in the mountains because you are out on your own and there is no noise except for the sound your feet makes on the trail. It is really pretty and quiet. It is peaceful – even during a race.”
