Coleen Nolan has openly admitted that she’s ready to date again. And while most of her peers encourage her decision to get out there, it’s much to the dismay of co-star Janet Street-Porter – who has branded her ‘dateless and desperate’.
The Loose Women co-stars got into a spot of bother live on air after Coleen, 55, admitted she’s joined a dating app and is finally ready to find love again – two years after her divorce from husband of 11 years, Ray Fensome.
While fans praised the TV star online for being ‘brave’ in taking the plunge, Janet, 73, wasted no time in making a jibe…
A STEP TOO FAR?
While Janet’s comment was no doubt meant in jest, Twitter users were up in arms about the straight-talking star’s jibe.
One fan ranted, ‘Janet, how can someone as intelligent and independent as you reach their 70s and not have realised it’s fine to be single, and [that] it’s actually much more desperate to need a man. And yes I am single.’
