She won over the nation with her wit and charm, but four years after first appearing on our screens, it looks as though Scarlett Moffatt’s glittering career could be falling apart.

The former Gogglebox star has been hit with fresh controversy that may potentially do serious damage – not only to her reputation, but her bank balance, too.

Boot camp

Two years ago, it has now been revealed, Scarlett, 27, went to a gruelling boot camp in Switzerland in a bid to drop 3st, where it’s claimed she was limited to as little as 700 calories while enduring an exhausting six hours of exercise a day.

Speaking about Scarlett's time at the camp, her spokesperson admitted it was a ‘horrid’ experience for the star. ‘She did go to a boot camp and it was a horrid experience. She had to weigh herself every day and was put on a very low-calorie diet — but she categorically did not take any pills,’ they revealed.
