Reality shows can bring a whole host of new opportunities - but they can also open up a can of worms, and TV's golden girl Stacey Solomon is reportedly feeling the pressure ahead of her latest venture.
The 35-year-old, alongside her husband of two years Joe Swash and their six kids, Zach, 16, Harry, 17, Leighton, 12, Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, 20 months, are filming a new Kardashian-esque reality show for the BBC named Escape To Pickle Cottage. And it's thought Stacey could have taken on more than she bargained for.
A source exclusively told new, "Although Stacey is very excited about the reality show with her family, she's quite apprehensive and nervous as she'll really be putting herself out there..
"Yes, she shares a lot of her family and home life on Instagram but that is just little snippets.
Having your own TV show is completely different and, unlike on socials, there will be a big camera crew filming their everyday life.
"They will have to learn to live with cameras in their house and following them around - at the moment it's just her or Joe filming on their phones." Following the success of Stacey's heartfelt show Sort Your Life Out, which sees her joined by a dedicated team to help families transform their homes, it's thought BBC bosses wanted to snap up Stacey and her family for a fly-on-the-wall series. And given her family are no strangers to an audience either - she regularly posts updates about them for her six million followers - it appeared the perfect fit.
However, with filming already underway during an outing at Port Lympne Safari Park in Kent, where the family were spotted in a Range Rover followed by a camera crew, Stacey reportedly can't help but feel worried about the potential "intrusive nature" of a TV show, especially as her children are expected to be regulars on it.
