DOG lover Enzo Maresca says fans calling Chelsea title contenders right now are barking up the wrong tree.
But the Blues boss, who owns a golden retriever called Ciro, reckons his players do have the pedigree to one day become the top dogs of English football.
Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho once famously complained that he only had “little horses” in a squad too young to win the league.
But while Maresca has been similarly keen to play down his young team’s title chances, he believes the future is Blue.
Maresca said: “It’s 10 years ago since he said that. I don’t know what kind of animals we are.
