McLaren, Ferrari fight to end title drought

THE battle for the drivers' title may be done and dusted but there is plenty to play for in Sunday's season finale in Abu Dhabi.

And while Max Verstappen can look forward to a winter celebrating a fourth successive title, the stakes could not be higher for two of FI's great names.

The fact that neither Ferrari or McLaren have won the contructors' championship for well over a decade is a sad indictment of the way those outfits have been run in recent years.

But one of those teams will end their long drought at Yas Marina this weekend.
