In this tome, we’ve packed what we believe to be the most worthy down payments for what we call “signifiers of taste and reputability” - the Rolex Datejust (p. 40) has been the choice of Presidents since its debut and so its inclusion should not be surprising. Also, what better symbol of accomplishment than Patek Calatrava Travel Time (p.44), one of the summits of horological achievement. The TAG Heuer Skippera (p. 50) is also one of those few beloved vintage revivals that managed to take a modern interpretation while being authentic to its spirit. The best bang for buck? One simply can’t go wrong with a watch that can handle formal or casual elegance like the Tudor Black Bay (p.54).

Finally, we saved the best for major features: Our cover star, the new Louis Vuitton Tambour (p. 96) is an unexpected yet thoroughly welcomed addition to the luxury sports genre - the industry is finally waking up to the idea that integrated sports timepieces don’t always have to scream, they can be classy like the Parmigiani PF Tonda Sport (p. 106) or even sculptural, like an art piece you wear similar to what Hublot (p. 110) has with its Orlinski and Maxime collabs.

At the end of the day, great art needs a great canvas and this Fall/Winter 2023 menswear collections (p. 114) are an immaculate dreamscape for the sartorially discerning, serving as a reminder that oftentimes sumptuous fabric accompanied with exquisite tailoring make look simple but its minimalist sophistication makes your chosen accompaniments (like watches and jewellery) pop, for a lasting impression.
