Resetting The Bar
Ford rewrote the pickup playbook three years ago by transforming its F-150 bodies from steel to aluminum—a bit more costly and more challenging to build and repair, but the resulting weight savings increased payload and tow ratings.
Great Memories
There are a handful of pivotal events in life that can be counted as life changing, among them your first job, getting married, and having your first child.
ZR2
Chevrolet finally pulled the wraps off the open-secret (and much anticipated) Colorado ZR2, officially confirming the existence of a second off-road midsize pickup for the ’17 model year. Arriving just in time to do battle with the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, the ZR2 also marks a return of the legendary Chevrolet nameplate, which first appeared on the S-10 pickup in the mid-90's. In fact, some claim the success of that first wide body S-10 ZR2 is what inspired Toyota to trot out its TRD-branded Tacoma off-roaders, and if that’s so, this truck marks the return of a true original.

It reminded us of a schoolyard fight—the two biggest kids on the playground stubbornly standing toe-to-toe, wildly pummeling each other with haymakers, neither willing to concede defeat.

72 Hours With A Tesla
It’s that time again, folks—get out your pitchforks, fire up the torches, and get ready to blast off some hate mail; we’re going to talk about a car. [GASP!] That’s right, a car in Truck Trend—what has the world come to? And y’all thought our SUV coverage was bad. Really, though, if you don’t care to read a little bit about an American-built, five-passenger hatchback that zips from 0-60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds, just flip the page now—it’ll save us all the headache.
