BACK IN ACTION

NEW FROM FRIDAY 17 JANUARY, NETFLIX ACTION COMEDY

Fifteen years after leaving the CIA to start a family, two top spies find themselves plunged into the dangerous world of espionage once again in glossy new actioncomedy movie Back in Action.

Landing on Netflix this week, the adventure is headlined by Hollywood A-listers Jamie Foxx (Collateral) and Cameron Diaz (Charlie's Angels) as Matt and Emily, who swapped daring missions for school runs when they became parents to Alice (Euphoria's McKenna Roberts) and Leo (rising star Rylan Jackson). But after their cover is blown, the couple must use their old spy skills to help their family evade capture in a series of highoctane escapades.

The majority of the film was shot in the UK, and the cast list also includes acclaimed American star Glenn Close (see box, right), along with Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights), Jamie Demetriou (Stath Lets Flats), Andrew Scott (Sherlock) and Tom Brittney (Grantchester).

Here, Cameron, 52, and Jamie, 57, explain their spying game...

So, Cameron, you stepped away from acting over a decade ago. What was it about this project that tempted you back?
